Local newspapers (on film in the Library) which are not yet online may also be of help if (as I suspect) this is the same family.

published by Pat Hase - 8 years 4 months 25 days ago. | | Taking your last question first. Looking at the house names given on the 1901census and comparing them with the house names of Grove Park Road in a later street directory it would appear that Brantholme was at No 8 and was renamed Endellion.
I have a copy of the 1917 Street Directory and the BROWN family were not at 8, Trwartha Park nor 31 Trewartha Park when that was compiled (probably in 1916). However, Wilfred M BROWN was at No 15 Trewartha Park.

If you are a full member of the society you will have full accsess to our transcriptions which shows a number of GLOSSOP's in the Emanuel Church including the baptism of Sinclair.
