On the closure of St Anne's school in Severn Avenue, Weston-Super-Mare around 1937. My father remembers going to a school in Grove Park Road (which could now be Hazelcroft, 3 Grove Park Road) for a year, before going to the County School for boys. He remembers his teacher being Freddie Meaker. Does anyone know the name of this school,and any other info about it? Thanks for your help with this. Paul Tregelles

Submitted by on Sat, 07/01/2017 - 15:08 Hi Paul I went to Hazelcroft School in the 50s. If memory serves me right the Owners/teachers were a Miss Irene Jenkins and a Miss Meaker. Another of the teachers was a Miss Goldsmith. Hope this helps a bit. Elspeth.     login or join us now to post comments
