Can anyone help please?
published by Brian & Pam Airey on Tue, 17/08/2021 - 18:27

Hi I am an amateur genealogist and aviation researcher with a specific interest in the Dambusters Raid of World War 2. Jack Liddell was the youngest of the Dambusters to die on that raid. I am looking to get him an appropriate memorial such as a blue plaque. I have done some research but not come up with much. I wondered if any of you had any information.

I can be contacted on Amarkham7@aol.com

Jack LIDDELL was first mentioned in our Research Forum in 2015  with a little more information but with no replies. There is some information about him on the Dambusters Blog  apart from the fake letter.

When his name was added to the War Memorial in Grove Park would there have been details of his life discovered and who would have it?  Our Grove Park Memorial transcription does not include him - it was done before he was added.
