- Pleasure trips from Knightstone Island,
- a brother who kept the Hobbs Boat Inn,
- a daughter whose marriage banns were objected to when called at Emmanuel,
- a grandson who tried to derail a train,
- a son-in-law who was a professional harpist
- the day to day concerns of someone who became Weston Worthy No 37.
