CommentsFind Elizabeth HODGES published by zumrob - 2 years 10 months 27 days ago. | | William Henry appears to have died in 1921 so she must have worked for them before then.
On the 1911 census Elizabeth Hodges ... visiting Abraham & Mary ROSE in 137 Ravenscroft Road, Beckenham, Kent. Birth indicates born in 1867! (not 1861) but she is a Domestic Parlour maid from Ilminster.
1921 - She might still be there! There are 3 entries for 137 Ravenscroft Road. 1 for Abraham and Mary. 1 for Alfred, Kate and Percival. 1 for Elizabeth!
You can find this out by doing a free lookup on Findmypast.
In 1901 there is a Bessie Hodges b 1868 Ilminster working for the Right Hon. Victor Albert Francis Charles CHURCHILL at Rolleston Hall in Leicestershire. There does seem to be a Bessie M HODGES b 1867 living in Donyat in the 1871 census as well as an Elizabeth HODGES b 1861, Ilminster daughter of Job HODGES. Not sure which one is yours. | |
