CommentsRoynon published by - 6 years 8 months 4 days ago. | | Hello, the Roynon's are practically a dynasty in Chew Stoke! They were major landowners of local manors and land in Tudor times onwards until the family fortune whittled away. There are lots of descendants who have done extensive work on each and every one. I only have info on my branch which unfortunately does not include the names you're looking for, but if you can link into Ancestry.com if you searched the names there is a lady who has so much info on your Peter you could contact her for her sources. Kind regards.

Birth Record of SLY or CARTER Grandfather published by Pat Hase - 6 years 8 months 10 days ago. | | You have been given some useful tips and it certainly looks as if he was born in the East Pennard area of Somerset. However, you do not say if he is still alive and if he is, then please do not publish any information about a living individual. If you purchase the birth certificate for David L SLY - that would at least confirm his place of birth.

Slades published by - 6 years 8 months 24 days ago. | | Edward Slade and Amelia Porter were my great-great grandparents. They had 21 (?) children and lived in Lympsham for many years. One of their sons, Francis, was my great grandfather. He and his wife, Florence, and their three children Hutton, Edna and Zena came to the US in 1912. I have more information that may be of help!
