It sounds as if the Weston-super-Mare Library may have a copy of the biography which you mention but I'm sure that they would be interested in copies of the photographs of the school which you have.  Other people researching ancestors who were pupils there would then have access to them.

Please contact The North Somerset Studies Library

Telephone  01934 426 863

Email address    local.history@n-somerset.gov.uk

Tell them that you have contacted the Weston-super-Mare & District FHS and that they suggested you contacted them with information for the File on Bynmelyn School.

My grandfather, Henry Ernest Landon, was headmaster at Brynmelyn School until his death in 1923. I have a short biography of him and the school written by my late aunt, his daughter, and a collection of photos of the school. I would be keen to learn about the experiences of others who knew the school and would be happy to share information which I have.

Hi Sarah.  Thank you for your information.  I presume you are referring to Suzanne regarding the information on Ancestry.  She is a close relative and I have all of her information but we both have a brick wall with John father of Benjamin (1756-1824).  We can't tie John into the Compton Martin Roynons, you also refer to, at the moment. John's wife may or may not be Mary Finner.

Hello, the Roynon's are practically a dynasty in Chew Stoke! They were major landowners of local manors and land in Tudor times onwards until the family fortune whittled away. There are lots of descendants who have done extensive work on each and every one. I only have info on my branch which unfortunately does not include the names you're looking for, but if you can link into Ancestry.com if you searched the names there is a lady who has so much info on your Peter you could contact her for her sources. Kind regards.
