School at Grove Park Road

On the closure of St Anne's school in Severn Avenue, Weston-Super-Mare around 1937. My father remembers going to a school in Grove Park Road (which could now be Hazelcroft, 3 Grove Park Road) for a year, before going to the County School for boys. He remembers his teacher being Freddie Meaker.

Does anyone know the name of this school,and any other info about it?

Hi Paul

I went to Hazelcroft School in the 50s.

If memory serves me right the Owners/teachers were a Miss Irene Jenkins and a Miss Meaker. Another of the teachers was a Miss Goldsmith. Hope this helps a bit. Elspeth.
