John and Deborah FISHER had children baptised in Weston-super-Mare between 1712 and 1724. Have found a likely death/burial for Deborah FISHER in 1744 but no marriage or way of separating out the numerous burials for John FISHER who was possibly one of the parish clerks of that name.

Hi There,

Your comment about the FISHER's caught my eye. John FISHER b. 1752 who married Susana BAKER b. 1761 in 1783 in Wick St Lawerence are direct descendants of mine. Would be interested to hear if John & Susana FISHER and the John & Deborah FISHER you mentioned are connected in any way.

Hello Heather,

I also have a possible Wick St Lawrence FISHER link.

My 4x great grandmother was Rebecca FISHER c1783-1842 who married Abraham STABBINS in Hutton in 1806. The most likely baptism I have for her is in Wick St Lawrence in 1790, the daughter of Prudence FISHER. The FreeReg transcription has a note saying "being * years old when baptised".

I have come across your John & Susanna FISHER before. I noticed that they had daughters named Prudence & Rebecca so thought John and Prudence are likely to be relatives.
