Hello, my wife is related to Japheth Broadbear, born in Churchill. Can you help please? I believe there are connections with Puxton, but not sure. Possibly a shoe maker in Axbridge as well. I notice there are a few graves at the Worle cemetery. Thanks, William and Carole

Japheth Broadbear was born 14 Sep 1851 in Churchill son of Sarah Broadbear.

Sarah Broadbear was born abt 1832 in Puxton the daughter of Thomas Broadbear & Sarah Dennet.

Thomas Broadbear was born abt 1810 in Puxton the son of Samuel Broadbear (born about 1774 Wick St Lawrence) & Sarah Bayley.

Hi, I'm a Broadbear descendant from Japheth. My father did some early resarch in the 70's. I have a copy of the marriage certificate of Japheth to Charlotte Clarke. It states that Thomas Broadbear was a shoemaker and that Jalpeth lived at 52 Westboune St, Pimlico Jalpeth was born14 september 1851 , Churchill. The birth was registered in Axbridge, birth in the sub-district of Blagdon, County of Somerset.
