Trying to trace the baptism of John Lintern or Linton or Lintorn which based on his age at burial would be circa 1757

He Married Ann Caple (as John Lintorn) on 6 May 1786 at Burrington Somerset but have not been able to trace his baptism in these two Parishes or adjoining Parishes

I know it's a bit of a long shot but I do know there were LINTERNS in Bath at about that time.  It might be worth looking a little further away for his birth. Was Burrington Ann's home parish?

There is also always the possibility that the age is not correct on the burial register - Have you seen the original?  3s, 5s & 8s are notorious for being difficult to read.

Good luck with this one!
