Hi. I have found out that I am a descendent of the DAY family and have details of three generations that lived in Worle and Kewstoke. The details only go as far back as Job West Day and Elizabeth (Betty) Day. My ancestors following them are Henry DAY (born 1812) and Amelia DAY (born 1811 nee URCH); then Elizabeth DAY (born 1834 to 1840) who married George ELTON. Happy to provide more details if you would like to get in touch, I realise your post was from some years ago. Best wishes, Emily

Hi Emily,First of all welcome to our website I hope you will get lots of help from our members. As for the DAY surname I only have one in my family tree, he was Albert Ernest DAY 1934-1991 I believe he was born in Worle, his family were Market Gardeners.I also have the surname URCH in a completely separate part of my tree he was Augustus URCH 1864-1939. Very best wishes, Bill CAPLE

Hi Bill, great to hear from you and thanks for the welcome. Elizabeth Day (my great x2 grandmother) had 7 siblings all born in Worle so I expect that the Days from the area are all connected in some way. I haven't come across the names of your ancestors but will let you know if I see anything further. Interesting that you are connected to both DAY and URCH as well. Best wishes, Emily
