I need a second or third opinion here!  Who was my 3 x great grandmother?  

My great great grandfather, one of her sons, was Charles STOKES, christened in Wraxall in 1820 s/o Samuel & Elizabeth.  

I have found a possible marriage in St James Bristol of a Samuel STOKES to an Elizabeth PEATES or PEATER in 1815 but I'm not convinced that it is the same Samuel STOKES or that Elizabeth's surname has been correctly written and/or transcribed.

I know that Elizabeth died in 1838 and was said to be 44 on the burial record.  Samuel married again in 1840.

Any suggestions would be great.
