Badgeworth parish records and Urch family name published by on Sun, 16/07/2017 - 21:01

Are there Badgeworth records going back to 1558? I see WSMFHS have the records from 1671 (baptisms and buriels, from 1688 for marriages) but I am looking for earlier records to trace the Urch family name. I would appreciate any help you can provide.   Tricia Urch

Submitted by Graham Payne on Mon, 17/07/2017 - 7:35 According to the parish summary compiled by Somerset Heritage Centre the transcripts on this site are the earlist surviving records. However it might be worth checking the Bishop Transcripts for Badgworth which start at 1598 but I don't know how complete these early records are.    login or join us now to post comments
