Hi thanks for the reply - this fits with my dates. Sorry my picture did not seem to appear. I will try again. Please see this pic - do you think this is Cllr Mrs Mary Joyce Grey ? If it is, do you think there would be a record of what the event is ? I am particularly interested to know what is happening in this picture which was taken between 1948 and 1962 (NFS on the badges of the jackets is Nation Fire Service which ran between 48-62). It looks like a lady mayor presenting an award. These are firemen. NFS17 is "Bristol " area. My gramps is in the pic so we know it is Weston.
