Matilda (Carey) Owen died at 61 Alfred Street in 1875.  I understand that some houses on Alfred Street were renumbered around 1908, e.g. the former no. 10 is thought to be present-day no. 74.  Does anyone know whether no. 61 in 1875 is still no. 61, or something else now?

Submitted by Pat Hase on Thu, 01/10/2015 - 13:03 It wasn't only the houses in Alfred Street where the numbers changed - this happened in many roads in Weston-super-Mare in 1908.   We believe that 61 Alfred Street became 21 Alfred Street.      login or join us now to post comments
