Hi, my mum attended Winterstoke Girls school from about 1950. Does anyone have any information or photos of the school? I have not been able to find much online so far.

In 1997, one of our members, Pam Woodburn, wrote a great little book entitled "Only Our Best Was Good Enough" all about Locking Road Junior School - it goes up to about 1950. Winterstoke Girls' School was on the same site and many of the girls would have gone on to Winterstoke School. Pam may know whether there are any copies still available and may possibly know where to find photographs.
