Interest in Sparey families, Congresbury/Yatton

The census records show many Sparey or Spary families in Congresbury and Yatton from 1840 through 1910. One of particular interest stayed at the Spotted Horse Inn, Congresbury. Does this inn still exist? Where was it located?

I understand that the Spotted Horse Inn was situated on Brinsea Road opposite Ticknells and was demolished about 1999 to make way for a housing development.

I am hoping to obtain a photograph which I will forward to you.

Congresbury History Group used to have a publication called 'Congresbury Pubs and Inns', now out of print but I think Weston super Mare library used to have a copy. May be worth searching for?
