Marriage Champion/Morris

I am trying to confirm a marriage between William Morris and Margaret Champion around the 1770s/1780s. Also I am trying to find the parents of William who would have been born c1750s. Any help would be appreciated (its one of my brick walls) Cheers

A Happy New Year to you Pamela! Your query is a good one to start the year. You do not mention where this marriage took place but I do know that a CHAMPION family lived in East Brent at that time so that would be a good place to start. Our transcriptions of East Brent marriages are available to full members (very reasonable cost!) and we might be able to help you with other research. There are two possible christenings of a William MORRIS in East Brent -could be father and son?

Am I right in thinking that their children were born in Nempnett Thrubwell? If so look to see if any of their names match with his possible parents or grandparents
