Trying to find information on a relative

My Aunt Miss Debra Kim Wightman died before I was born and am finding it difficult to get any information other that her date of birth - 3 Aug 1960 and the date of registration of her death May 1985 (Both events registered in WSM
I have been told she died after falling from (or jumping from!) a bridge in Bristol and her body was found some 3 months later
I have looked at various online newspaper databases but cannot see anything for this area or time period :(

I hope to be able to travel to WSM at somepoint and try the local library myself, in the meantime would anyone have any information on her?

Unfortunately I didn't see this until after we had left the library this afternoon but there are copies of local newspapers available there to search on film. I see her death was registered in the 2nd qrt of 1985 - Do you have a copy of the death certificate? - presumably there was an inquest and that will be reported in the local press. Perhaps next Saturday someone will have the time to take a look for you.

We have just ordered a copy of the death certificate (expected delivery after end of this month apparently!)
We're not sure if the certificate will indicate anything about an inquest This afternoon we found address for coroners office in Flax Bourton so will write to them and ask what we can find out...
