Moore family

I am researching my paternal family tree and have got back as far as Thomas Moore born 1741 in Burnham on sea.
He married Anne Yeomans and as far as I can see had a son also called Thomas born 1764.
I'm afraid though that I have hit a huge wall now and would welcome any help from anyone please!

What evidence have you got that Thomas MOORE was born in Burnham on Sea? I note that a marriage between a Thomas MOORE and Anne YEOMANS took place in Ilminster Church in 1762 and that in 1764 presumably their son, Thomas, was christened in the Presbyterian Meeting House at Ilminster (so were two more brothers). As these christenings were non-conformist it is likely that their father was as well.
