The information I have is, built c1830, rebuilt with spire 1858 at a cost of £2300, the new chapel could seat 500 people it closed in the mid 1870s.

High Street 1856

This drawing of the High Street is dated about 1858 and shows the position of the Independent Church with a spire.  You can also see a front view of this chapel included in this article from the Weston Mercury  about churches in Weston.  The church was superseded by the Congregational Church (now URC) in Waterloo Street in 1876 and I'm told that the spire was incorporated into Banwell Abbey, whilst the rest of the building was used by an ironmonger - Felix Thomas - before it was taken over by Woolworths.
