"I am looking for any info on my great grandfather Maurice TAYLOR (6th child of Edward TAYLOR and Jane TURNER). His wife Mary Matilda POPLE (her parents were Henry POPLE and Mary Ann BODY) immigrated to Toronto Canada and lived with her son, Albert TAYLOR (1886-1968), my grandfather.

I am also trying to find information on Frederick TAYLOR (1888-?) and Elizabeth TAYLOR (1879-?), Maurice and Matilda's other 2 children.

Fred was with the 2nd Battn. 24th Regiment of the South Wales Borderers in 1906 and received his 3rd class certificate. In 1910 Fred was in Bombay from a post card to Matilda at 11, Palmer St, WSM and 1911 in Carnarvon from a post card to Matilda in Toronto.

Any help greatly appreciated--CTR"

NB.  Maurice TAYLOR was born in London (Streatham - Wandsworth District) in 1857 and he married Matilda POPLE in Cardiff in 1884.

Maurice's grandfather - another Maurice (sometimes Morris) TAYLOR was a stone mason & builder in Weston - born in Worle in about 1795
