St James, Winscombe

St James, Winscombe St. James, Winscombe
The 13th Century church was dedicated to St James the great who was one of the apostles. A statue of St James can be seen in a niche on the outside of the 15th century tower above the nave. The exact date of the reconstruction of the existing church is unknown, but it is of a perpendicular style (15th century).
